My artistic expression as a doll maker and writer came through me - but is not about me… it is an inspirational light of storytelling to gives others the confidence and encouragement to tell their own unique stories through creativity that allow us to grow and evolve and make sense of our human experience.
My Story
My artistic journey as a writer and a doll artist is a way for me to express, heal, and connect to my soul’s desire to be the most sincere, authentic, and honest version of myself. It is a dialogue and love letter between God and me.
I am the manifestation of my ancestor’s magic. I am the magician of my ancestor’s hopes and dreams.

I dedicate the Jungle-Beauty-Goddesses-Museum to my great-great-great Grandmother Angelina; my great grandmother, Ida Boykin; My Grandmothers Minnie Bell Thompson and Rebecca Williams; My Mother Mary George, My aunties Augustine and Carolyn. Your strength is my strength.

You sewed because you had to - you sewed what was needed to survive - so that I could have the time, space, and resources to sew the dolls and fabric beings from my imagination.
